Tackling a National Challenge
Did you know Ghana imports over 56% of its beef annually? This reliance costs the nation over $375 million USD every year. AgroT Hub, a community-centered NGO, is determined to change this through an ambitious cattle breeding and fattening initiative.
Why This Project Matters
With a growing population and increasing demand for quality, locally-produced beef, AgroT Hub’s initiative is set to:
- Provide breeding stock to farmers
- Reduce the country’s import dependency
- Create jobs for women, youth, and persons with disabilities
- Promote food security and community wealth creation

How It Works: An Inclusive, Profitable Model
The project operates from a 10-acre land in Ghana’s Bono Region, with a structure that allows individuals, institutions, and businesses to invest and earn from livestock farming.
Highlights:
- Centralized cattle fattening center
- Breeding services for farmers
- Profit-sharing scheme
- Annual financial reports and accountability mechanisms
Advisory and management committees will ensure transparency, efficiency, and long-term sustainability.
Why Invest in Livestock Now?
Livestock farming is one of Ghana’s most under-tapped agricultural sectors. With over $375 million spent on beef imports, local production offers a profitable and impactful business opportunity.
